President Arif Alvi summons Senate session

ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has called a meeting of the upper house tomorrow in which the political and economic situation of the country will be discussed.

According to the details, the president of the State convened the meeting of the Senate tomorrow at 10:30 in the Parliament House Islamabad and issued instructions to all the senators to attend the meeting.

Some media reports have claimed that issues of national and international importance will be discussed during the Senate session tomorrow.

Last month, the president had summoned a session of the Senate under Article 54 of the Constitution of Pakistan. The session was summoned at 1500HRS in the upper house of the parliament,
