PTI Chairman Imran Khan said on Wednesday that President Arif Alvi was in contact with him and would consult him on the appointment of top two slots in the military, reported a private TV channel.
According to the TV channel in an interview with a private TV PTI chief said:“I am in contact with the president over the summary related to a key appointment,” said the PTI chief.
He said that I am in touch with the President regarding the important appointment summary and he will consult me on the appointments, the report added.
He further said that the prime minister went to a fugitive to ask about an important appointment. “I am the leader of my party, so the president will definitely talk to me.”
It should be noted that the Prime Minister’s House has received the summary of the Army Chief’s appointment last night and a decision on this summary is expected at any time.
