CHAKWAL: The police have arrested a prayer leader on charges of sexually assaulting four minor girls from a village Dhok Phulari area of Chakwal.
According to sources, the tragic incident took place in Bilal Jama Masjid of Phulari in Talagang Tehsil of Chakwal, within the limits of Timan Police Station, where Maulvi Sultan raped four girls in a room adjacent to the mosque.
The girl’s father, Abdul Malik told MM News that his daughter used to go to the mosque with other children to study the Holy Quran. His daughter Tayyaba told him that Maulvi Sultan took her to a room adjacent to the mosque and raped her by closing the door.
The girl’s father said that according to his daughter the accused also made a video of the girl. Habib Sultan, the father of the second girl, said that Maulvi Sultan also raped his daughter Muqaddas Fatima in the same way and made a video of it.
Fakhr-ud-Din and Hafeez-ur-Rehman the fathers of the other victims said: “Our daughters are 9 years old, respectively. They were used to go to madrassas to recite Quran. Maulvi Sultan raped them and also made videos” they alleged.
When the girls told their parents about the incidents, the girls’ parents lodged FIR against the accused in the Timon police station. They said medical reports of the girls proved to be sexual abuse. Police arrested the accused and registered four cases against the accused.
The parents of all the girls demanded PM Imran and other concerned authorities take the notice of the incident and order strict action against Maulvi Sultan.
