PPP senior leader Ayatullah Durrani passes away

MASTUNG: Senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former federal minister Ayatullah Durrani has passed away in a private hospital in Balochistan today (Sunday).
According to details, Ayatullah Durrani had been seriously ill for the past few days and was admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest Hospital in Quetta. Ayatullah Durrani will be buried in his hometown Parangabad area of Mastung.
PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has expressed sorrow over the death of Ayatullah Durrani. “Durrani was an ideological and loyal worker and his death was a major loss to the party,” he added.  
Information and Broadcasting Minister Senator Shibli Faraz and Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser have also expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Pakistan People’s Party central leader Ayatullah Durrani.
They prayed for the departed soul and commiserated with the bereaved family. Ayatullah Durrani had served as the state minister for industries and production.
