PPP instructs Sindh assembly members to submit resignations

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has asked members of the Sindh Assembly to submit their resignation as part of the announcement by the Pakistan Democratic Movement.

PPP leadership directed Sindh Assembly members to submit their resignations in the Bilawal House. Members of the Sindh Assembly have been directed to send handwritten resignations in the name of the speaker.

All Sindh Assembly members have been advised to submit their resignations to the Chairman Secretariat by 14th December.

It may be recalled that the leadership of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had agreed to resign in a meeting held on 13th December, after which several members of PML-N have submitted their resignations to the leadership.

On the other hand, Shahbaz Gill, Assistant to the Prime Minister, said that submitting resignations to the rejected Maulana Fazlur Rehman is an argument for fake resignations.
