It may be recalled that the leadership of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had agreed to resign in a meeting held on 13th December, after which several members of PML-N have submitted their resignations to the leadership.

On the other hand, Shahbaz Gill, Assistant to the Prime Minister, said that submitting resignations to the rejected Maulana Fazlur Rehman is an argument for fake resignations.
