In Constituency PP-7 of Rawalpindi, the Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected the PTI candidate’s request for recounting of votes.
According to the details, there will be no recount of votes in Rawalpindi Constituency PP-7. The Election Commission, rejecting the PTI candidate’s application, said that the applicant could not provide sufficient evidence required for the recount.
It should be noted that in PP-7, Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s candidate had complained of rigging, on which the Election Commission had to recount the votes as per the rules and regulations. The Chief Election Commissioner said that sufficient evidence has not been provided.

After the Chief Election Commissioner’s decision not to recount the votes, the PML-N workers started celebrating the victory of their candidate. The PML-N members also raised slogans in the constituency, but PTI is not satisfied with this decision.
The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have decided to knock on the door of the Islamabad High Court against the alleged biased decision of the Election Commission. PTI leaders say that the Election Commission is clearly supporting the ruling political party.
