LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz will reach Wazirabad today for the by-election campaign of the PP-51 constituency.
According to details, the former prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz who will visit Wazirabad today in connection with the by-election PP-51 election campaign will be warmly welcomed by N-League workers at various places along the way.
Maryam Nawaz will reach Gakhar around 1 pm today from where she will be taken to Wazirabad in case of a rally. The first reception of Maryam Nawaz’s rally will be on Wazirabad’s Paris CNG. Later, the rally will reach Allahwala Chowk, after which it will be held at Kutchery Chowk, passing through Wazirabad bazaar in connection with the election campaign.

Maryam Nawaz will address the election rally. In her address, she will present the PML-N’s stance on Senate elections and by-elections. Later, she will also visit Shahdara. Earlier on Saturday, she asserted that Daska’s by-election was not just an election but a war against those who steal people’s votes.
She expressed her views while addressing a public gathering in Sialkot’s Daska where she accused Prime Minister Imran Khan of coming into power through backdoor, saying that he was brought into power to serve the nation but “he is busy in serving his selectors”.

The PML-N leader said for the first time in history the people of Punjab have stood up for their rights and refused to bow down to tyranny. “PML-N stalwart Khawaja Asif belonging to Sialkot district was arrested because he refused to stop supporting the party supremo, Nawaz Sharif,” she added.
