ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (N) has decided not to form the federal government and said that the party was not fond of a crown of thorns.
According to the details, the leaders of Muslim League (N), who claimed to get the most seats in the federation, including former railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq and former minister Mian Javed Latif, invited Tehreek-e-Insaf to form the government at the center in their recent statement.
Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that independent candidates supported by Tehreek-e-Insaf should take the initiative in government formation and form a central government together with the People’s Party. “The PML-N has no desire to decorate its head with a crown of thorns,” he said.
A similar statement was also made by PML-N leader Javed Latif. Javed Latif said that the same party should be given a chance to form the government, which was given a majority in the center. This may fail the plan to spread chaos in the country.
The inside story of the PML-N meeting in Lahore has recently been revealed. The central leadership advised Nawaz Sharif not to form the government. Javed Latif, in this regard, said that the day the decision was taken, the next day he would tell for whom the rigging was done. “I will also tell you who was the mastermind of February 8,” he said.
During the meeting of PML-N leaders, PML-G leaders said, “We have to focus on Punjab instead of the government at the centre. A government of Muslim League (N) and independent candidates can be easily formed in Punjab.”
