LAHORE: PML-N candidate has won the by-election in NA-133 constituency for the National Assembly seat.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that the turnout was very low. In his message on social networking site Twitter, the Information and Broadcasting Minister said that the turnout in the Lahore elections was very low, which proves that PML-N and PPP cannot win even in an empty field.

In a Twitter message regarding the non-participation of PTI candidates in the NA-133 by-election, Chaudhry said that despite all the propaganda, the party is the real player in the field without which the field is deserted.
Earlier, according to unofficial and unconfirmed results of the by-election in the NA-133 constituency of Lahore, Shaista Pervaiz Malik of PML-N took the field while Aslam Gul of Pakistan Peoples Party came second.

In the big battle of NA-133 by-election of Lahore constituency, a fierce contest took place between PML-N’s Shaista Pervaiz Malik and PPP’s Aslam Gul on which PML-N and PPP leaders encouraged their respective candidates. Malik of PML-N won with 14,000 votes, Shaista Pervez got 46,811 votes, while Aslam Gul of Pakistan Peoples Party came second with 32,313 votes.
