ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended best wishes to the renowned religious scholar, Maulana Tariq Jamil, and wished him a speedy recovery.
The prime minister took to Twitter and expressed a speedy recovery of Maulana Tariq Jamil from the coronavirus.

Yesterday, the renowned religious scholar had tested positive for the coronavirus. Taking to Twitter, he announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 after he felt mild symptoms and was feeling down. He further informed that on the directives of doctors he has been admitted to hospital.

He also urged his admirers and loved ones to pray for his health. Tariq Jamil also shared a positive message for all his admirers. “Those who stay positive leave longer impact of their efforts,” he wrote.

Maulana Tariq Jamil continuously named as one of The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan from 2013 to 2019. The religious scholar stood 40th of a list ranking the world’s most “influential” Muslims in 2019.
