LAHORE: Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not spare those involved in creating a wheat and sugar crisis in the country.
While talking to media reporters in Lahore, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that those who are involved in corruption would be punished. “There will be action against any minister, including me if he is found guilty in creating the wheat and sugar crisis,” he said.
Referring to the difference between the opposition and the federal government, the federal government said, “This is not the right time for politics and everyone should unite in the bigger interest of people.”
According to Sheikh Rasheed, true nations unite in times of crisis. He also announced to launch a special train to Chaman consisting of thirty coaches.
He also announced to contribute a huge amount as a donation in the Prime Minister’s corona relief fund on the upcoming Monday.
Sheikh Rasheed earlier said that this is the time to show unity and repent to Almighty God. “We have to fight this pandemic collectively,” he asserted. “Unity and cohesion are essential to battle against the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.
While comparing the coronavirus’ cases of Pakistan with other countries, he said that the virus had caused lesser damage to our country as compared to Europe.
