ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the country’s first smart forest at Rakh Jhok jungle in Sheikhupura.
Rakh Jhok Forest is an important project of the Urban Development Authority which will be equipped with sensors and surveillance systems. During the visit, the prime minister will have a one-on-one meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. The chief minister will give a briefing on the political and administrative situation in the province.
The prime minister will also preside over important meetings at the Chief Minister’s House in Lahore, where he will be briefed on the ongoing development projects in the provincial capital.
PM Imran Khan will also attend the Punjab Education Convention 2021 in Lahore today. The convention will highlight the steps taken by the present government to promote quality education in the last three years.

Earlier, PM Imran Khan inaugurated the Urban Forest under the 10 billion train tsunami in the forests of Miyawaki. On this occasion, the prime minister said that he would give a better Pakistan to future generations.
Talking on the occasion, PM Imran Khan said that he congratulated everyone on growing Miyawaki forests. The world’s largest Miyawaki forest has been planted. The weather is getting warmer all over the world.
PM Imran Khan said that if the world tries, we can avoid global warming. Each person should plant at least one tree, he added.
