ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to chair the federal cabinet meeting today to discuss the seven-point agenda.
The cabinet members will meet today to review the overall political and economic situation of the country.

According to the sources, Imran Khan will take the cabinet members into confidence over the decisions taken by him during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee which was held on 15th November.
The sources said that the prime minister is likely to shuffle federal ministers in the cabinet.
During the meeting, the proposals made by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) are likely to be approved.
While discussing pints, Khan will be given a detailed report on the National Tariff Policy for its approval.

The post of chief executive officer in industries’ ministry, a designation of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation and Federal Insurance Ombudsman is also included in the session’s agenda.
The committee earlier decided collectively that any unconstitutional demand of protesting Maulana Fazlur Rehman-led Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) including the prime minister’s resignation would not be accepted.
