ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad today in which he will discuss a 13-point agenda.
The federal cabinet is likely to take a few significant decisions regarding Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s anti-government Azadi March.
The head of the government’s negotiation team, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak will brief about the negotiation meetings with Rehbar Committee.

Issues related to the country’s present political situation, economic affairs, and inflation will also be discussed in the meeting.
In the cabinet meeting, the report of vacant posts of Chief Executive Officers and MDs in all the ministries and divisions will also be discussed.

The policy will be approved in respect of the construction of the tallest buildings in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Multan.
The transfer of Artist Welfare Funds from the cabinet division to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in addition to approving the amendment to the relevant Civil Aviation Rules 1994 will be approved during the meeting.

The approval of the Islamabad Health Care Facilities Management Act 2019 draft, and the termination of the contract of employment of MD, Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan LNG Limited would be discussed.
The reformation of the boards of directors of both Sui Northern Gas Company and Pakistan LNG Ltd would be discussed in the meeting.

The approval of the Board of Directors of Government Holding Private Limited is also part of the Cabinet’s agenda.
The approval will be given to the induct Minister of Economic Affairs in the National Executive Committee.
