ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today.
A 14-point agenda of the federal cabinet meeting will be discussed today. The cabinet meeting will consider the political, economic, and security situation in the country. The situation in Karachi will also be reviewed in the meeting.
The cabinet meeting will review the damage caused by the rains in Karachi while the prime minister will present a package for cleaning Karachi drains, water supply, and drainage. The Cabinet will be briefed on the import of 60 metric tonnes of wheat and sugar, besides the damage caused by floods and floods.
The meeting will be briefed on the operation against encroachment on Margalla Road. Construction of high-rise buildings in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Multan is also part of the agenda. The quality and timing of outsourcing to the country’s major airports will also be determined.
The Secretary Establishment will inform the cabinet about the appointments without cabinet approval and the Federal Cabinet will also ratify the decisions of the Economic Committee on 21st August.
