KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to arrive in Sindh’s capital today at 3 pm on a one-day visit to hold meetings with the leaders of the national assembly.
The prime minister will meet the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Inaf (PTI) elected representatives at the Governor House. He will also be given a briefing on the city’s law and order situation during his visit. The prime minister is expected to hold meetings with Governor Sindh, Imran Ismail
He will also attend the wedding ceremony of minister Asad Umar’s son. He will leave for Islamabad at 10 pm on the same day.

Earlier on Thursday, while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Jalalpur Canal at Pind Dadan Khan, the prime minister said that the county has come out of the difficult phase due to effective measures taken by the government as the trade deficit was reducing and foreign remittances and investments were increasing.
He vowed that the next year would open up an era of development, progress, prosperity, and job opportunities.
