ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made it clear that the state of Pakistan will adopt zero tolerance policy for terrorists challenging the writ.
The 40th meeting of National Security Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, held yesterday, was attended by relevant federal cabinet members, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, all services chiefs, and heads of intelligence services.

The forum was apprised of the security situation of the country with a particular focus on recent terrorist incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The forum concluded that no country would be allowed to provide sanctuaries and facilitation to terrorists and Pakistan reserved all rights in that respect to safeguarding its people.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif said the National Security Committee meeting took some major decisions after hours long deliberations. He said two of the major decisions taken in NSC meeting stood out. First was the decision that state of Pakistan would adopt zero tolerance policy for challenging its writ, and the second was economic roadmap to revive economy and provide relief to the masses.
