ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is underway in which tributes have been paid to the federal ministers for the measures taken to help the victims during the floods.
According to the details, during the meeting, the Prime Minister praised the Minister of Climate Change Sherry Rehman. In the federal cabinet meeting, the prime minister paid tribute to the Minister of Climate Change, besides the Minister of Communications Asad Mehmood, and the Minister of Energy Khurram Dastgir for taking measures during the floods.
During the Cabinet meeting, the prime minister also appreciated the efforts of NDMA on the relief measures for the flood victims, and the Foreign Minister and the Information Minister for highlighting Pakistan’s position on the flood devastation in Kop-27.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the assurance of assistance from the international community for the damages caused by floods across the country is Pakistan’s victory on the foreign front.
In the meeting presided over by the prime minister, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the martyred personnel of the law enforcement agencies during the recent events. During this time, several members of the federal cabinet were present.
Apart from Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Ayaz Sadiq, Malik Ahmed and Minister of State for Power Division are also participating in the federal cabinet meeting.
