A great read for our youth during lockdown days. An excellent brief history of the driving force that made Islamic civilisation the greatest of its time and then the factors behind its decline. pic.twitter.com/XdTSLFmIjj

The book ‘The Lost Islamic History’ narrates the lost Islamic history. The Umayyads, Abbasids, and Ottomans feature in the story, as do Muslim Spain, the savannah kingdoms of West Africa, and the Mughal Empire, along with the later European colonization of Muslim lands and the development of modern nation-states in the Muslim world.
Earlier, the prime minister said that Pakistan’s situation in terms of coronavirus was much better than the other countries. Commenting on a new programme, he announced that the government had started working on a new programme for unemployed people.
The premier also informed that the Corona Relief Tigers Force had been informed to set up a desk in each union council to check who has been unemployed.
In this regard, the premier said that the government would contribute Rs4 for every Rs1 that people donate to the premier’s corona relief fund.
