An aircraft carrying Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi unexpectedly traversed Pakistani airspace for 40 minutes during his journey to Paris.
Modi embarked on a three-day visit to France, departing from New Delhi aboard the special aircraft India One. His flight entered Pakistani airspace near Okara, flying over Lahore, Hafizabad, Sargodha, Talagang, and Kohat at an altitude of 34,000 feet before exiting into Afghan airspace via Landi Kotal.
During his visit, Modi will chair the third edition of the AI Summit in Paris. Following his engagements in France, he will travel to the United States on February 12, where he is set to meet President Donald Trump for the first time in his second term as Prime Minister.

Notably, in August last year, Modi’s aircraft also passed through Pakistani airspace on its return from a high-profile visit to Poland.
However, in 2019, Pakistan denied Modi’s request to use its airspace for a flight to Germany due to heightened tensions over the Kashmir dispute.
