ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday inaugurated the first one-window Ehsaas centre in Islamabad.
On the occasion, the prime minister was briefed about the initiative which is aimed at ensuring access to all the facilities and services of Ehsaas Program under one roof.
Ehsaas One Window centers will be established in every district of the country. The initiative has six components. Its first component is Ehsaas Centre while others include a digital information and services platform, mobile app, back-office consolidated digital interface, database, and uniform integrated beneficiary targeting policy.
On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated a mobile unit in Islamabad to facilitate people in getting information and loans for the low cost housing program.
In partnership with National Bank of Pakistan and Naya Pakistan Housing Authority, the mobile unit will serve as one window for the loans being provided under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.

The mobile unit will initially provide services in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and the adjacent areas and will be established across the country. The initiative will also help reduce the burden on banks during the COVID-19 situation.
Appreciating the mobile unit initiative of National Bank of Pakistan, the prime minister said it is the foremost priority of the government to extend every possible facilitation to low-income groups so that they could have their own houses.
He emphasized that the banks simplify the loan procedures for houses with the aim to ensure facilitation to the people.
