ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Haripur on Thursday to inaugurate a university.
The prime minister will be accompanied by federal ministers to inaugurate the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule University.
PTI Senator Faisal Javed said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate flagship project of the federal government
He said that the university will offer specialised courses in Artificial Intelligence, Railway Engineering, Mineral Resource Engineering, Agriculture Food Technologies and other departments.
The first board meeting was presided by Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman in 2019. The meeting was approved budget, service rules and members of board of governors and informed that formal classes at the varsity would start from October 2020.
The university known as Institute of Applied Science and Technology will impart European standard education to students in the university. The university was approved in 2016 by former Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at the cost of Rs8.2 billion.
