ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting today on the situation in neighbouring country Afghanistan in which the country’s civil and military leadership will participate.
According to details, an important meeting on the situation in Afghanistan will be held today under the chairmanship of PM Imran Khan in which federal ministers and military officials will participate.
There will also be a consultative meeting in Sialkot on the assassination of Sri Lankan manager Priyantha Kumara, which will consider strategies to prevent such incidents in the future.
Peace in Afghanistan has been of paramount importance in Pakistan’s foreign policy. The prime minister said on several occasions that peace in Afghanistan was tantamount to peace in Pakistan.
Along with the establishment of peace in Afghanistan, Pakistan has also been sending relief equipment to meet the economic needs of the people of the brotherly Islamic country.
Earlier, Special Assistant Dr. Faisal Sultan said that 160 million medicines and medical equipment were being sent to Afghanistan from Pakistan.
Dr. Faisal Sultan said six days ago that he was doing his best to provide health facilities in Afghanistan on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He thanked the pharma companies.
