ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has been prepared for positive progress on legislation in today’s joint sitting of Parliament while he has also convened a meeting of the ruling party’s parliamentary group today
According to details, the prime minister twice consulted the legal team for legislation during the joint sitting of Parliament. During this time, the National Assembly and the Senate considered strategies for passing legal bills.
Members of the National Assembly also called on the prime minister yesterday. PM Imran Khan directed the members to ensure their participation in the joint sitting of Parliament aimed at making the government successful in the legislative process.
On the other hand, the opposition is ready to give a tough time to the coalition government in the joint parliamentary session. Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif consulted with the PDM and other opposition leaders and discussed ways to thwart government policies.

The united opposition agreed with all its might to prevent the legislative process. It was decided that the leaders of different political parties would ensure the participation of members of their respective parties in today’s joint sitting of Parliament.
A meeting of the PTI parliamentary party, chaired by PM Imran Khan, will be held today with the aim of gaining the confidence of party leaders in the legislative process. Earlier, the government claimed to have taken the coalition leaders into confidence in the legislation.
