ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Quetta on a day-long visit on Friday.
He will hold meetings with Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan and Governor Amanullah khan Yasinzai and will discuss coronavirus situation and other important issues of the province.
Last week, the prime minister was on a day-long visit to Karachi where he announced a historic Rs1,100 billion package for the city.
The prime minister arrived in Karachi on Saturday afternoon for a day’s visit. He chaired an important meeting at Governor House that was attended by Governor Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and several MPAs.
He said it is a historic day for the city and all the stakeholders have decided to work together to solve Karachi’s problems. He also addressed a press conference after the meeting accompanied by the chief minister and governor. S
He said the amount includes the packages of both the federal and provincial government and an implementation committee will be formed to ensure that work is being done for the benefit of the city.
The prime minister also spoke about some of the biggest problems faced by the city and how the federal and provincial governments plan to solve them.
