LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Muhammad Anwarul Haq has recused himself from hearing of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) attack and forwarded the file to the LHC chief justice.
The police submitted a report against the lawyers under anti-terrorism acts who were arrested for attacking the PIC hospital during a violent protest.

The lawyers, who were protesting inside the PIC hospital over a dispute with young doctors, slapped and severely manhandled the provincial minister when he arrived at the hospital to hold talks with the protesters.
A violent clash that erupted between hundreds of lawyers and doctors on Wednesday had left four patients dead when the charged lawyers stormed into the PIC and broke windows of the emergency ward and several vehicles parked nearby.
