Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to launch six new routes in January 2025, expanding its international and domestic operations as it strengthens its footprint in the Middle East.
The new services, which will utilize Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 aircraft, aim to enhance connectivity to key destinations.
Internationally, PIA will introduce additional flights to Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha, Dammam, and Jeddah. Domestically, the airline will increase weekly flights between Peshawar and Karachi.
Key international routes include two weekly flights from Sialkot to Bahrain starting January 20, while two new weekly flights from Lahore to Dammam will start operation from January 22. Moreover, the national career will begin operating Lahore-Kuwait weekly service from January 25 and Sialkot–Doha from January 21.
On the domestic front, a new weekly service between Karachi and Peshawar will launch on January 25.
These expansions are part of PIA’s strategy to enhance passenger options and strengthen its position in competitive markets.
