The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has begun the process of selling the naming rights for the historic Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, inviting commercial entities to submit official tenders for the opportunity.
PCB officials confirmed that the move is part of a broader initiative to enhance the board’s commercial revenues through strategic partnerships involving stadium naming rights across the country.
According to PCB representatives, this policy aims to create sustainable income streams from cricket infrastructure, aligning with global trends where major sports venues are branded through corporate sponsorships.

The initiative follows the successful renaming of Karachi’s National Stadium to the National Bank Cricket Arena, a move that opened new sponsorship and revenue opportunities. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium is now set to follow suit as part of this ongoing commercialization strategy.
By aligning with international practices, the PCB hopes to modernize its revenue model while maintaining the prestige of Pakistan’s major cricket venues.
