The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a legal notice to South African cricketer Corbin Bosch for allegedly breaching his contractual obligations after withdrawing from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi to join Mumbai Indians for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bosch, selected in the diamond category by Zalmi during January’s PSL draft, was announced on March 8 as a replacement for the injured Lizaad Williams in the Mumbai Indians squad.
In a statement, the PCB said, “South Africa’s Corbin Bosch has been served a legal notice alleging breach of his contractual obligations to the PCB.” The notice, sent via his agent, requires Bosch to explain his withdrawal and highlights the consequences of his actions. The PCB awaits his response within the designated time frame, which remains unspecified.

For the first time, the PSL and IPL, two major Twenty20 leagues, will run concurrently. The IPL is scheduled from March 22 to May 25, while the PSL will take place from April 11 to May 18.
The PCB shifted the PSL schedule to attract more overseas players, avoiding competition with other leagues such as the SA20, International League T20, and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
