ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday said that Pakistan’s economy has been destroyed and unemployment has risen.

Talking to the media, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that we are facing baseless allegations while the country’s economy has been destroyed. He said that the reality of what the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is doing has become clear to the whole of Pakistan as such cases are made for political engineering. “They are trying to weaken us by making false allegations,” he maintained.

Abbasi said that it was certain that after the All Parties Conference (APC), all the opposition parties would be in jail. The NAB should hear all the cases on camera when the judges asked the NAB under what authority the arrests are being made.
