Pakistani cricket team's Fatima Sana nominated for 'Cricketer of the Year'

Pakistani women’s team player Fatima Sana has been nominated by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the Women’s Cricketer of the Year award.

According to details, the ICC has announced the nominations for the selection of the best female player in the world of cricket. Women players from England, South Africa, and the West Indies, including national team cricketer Fatima Sana, have also been nominated.

Fatima Sana from Pakistan, Lizelle Lee from South Africa, and Belle Matthews from West Indies have been nominated for Women Cricketer of the Year. Fatima Sana, 20, played her first ODI for Pakistan on May 6, 2019.

Moreover, Fatima Sana also made a place in the T20 squad. He played his first T20 match for Pakistan against South Africa on May 15, 2019. In June 2021, Fatima Sana became part of the national team against the West Indies.

For the first time in the final match of the West Indies Tour, Fatima Sana gave 39 runs and showed the way to 5 players of the opposing team which was the best performance of Fatima Sana as a medium-fast bowler. His bowling is being loved internationally.
