Unverified reports circulating on social media claim that TV anchor and YouTuber Jameel Farooqui has been the target of an alleged attack, leaving him in a critical condition.
According to his team, the assault was reportedly carried out in Sargodha by a man identified as Tariq Masood along with unidentified accomplices.
Initial information suggests that the attackers not only assaulted him but also recorded videos of the incident, with reports of gunfire involving a Kalashnikov.

Meanwhile, journalist Arbaz Ali Bhutta condemned the alleged attack in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating that such acts of violence against journalists are highly deplorable and must be strongly denounced.
