Pakistan will continue raising IoK issue: Ambassador Asad 

WASHINGTON: Pakistani Ambassador to the United States, Asad Majeed Khan said that Pakistan would continue to raise the issue of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) at every forum.
While addressing an event, Asad Majeed Khan said that the Pakistani American community should raise their voice for the rights of Kashmiris.
He further said that the government and ambassies have effectively raised voice for Kashmir on global platforms.

Speaking on the matter the Ambassador said that the prime reason for the prime minister’s visit was to highlight the plight of innocent Kashmiri’s on a global platform.
He said, “The Indian government has imprisoned 8 million Kashmiris. Independent observers were sent to Indian-occupied Kashmir. The international community must force India to take back its decision of scrapping the Article.”
Earlier in August, India had stripped Kashmir of its special status in the Constitution and brought the region under its direct rule.
