Pakistan will visit Bangladesh next month for a three-match T20I series beginning July 20, in what marks the return leg of bilateral cricket ties between the two nations.
The matches are scheduled for July 20, 22, and 24, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board expected to confirm venue details shortly.
During Bangladesh’s recent tour of Pakistan, the home side delivered a dominant performance across all departments, highlighting the cohesion of both their batting and bowling units.
The tour was confirmed by Pakistan’s T20I captain, Salman Ali Agha, following Bangladesh’s recent visit to Pakistan, where the hosts completed a comprehensive 3-0 sweep.
“Our upcoming assignments include tours of Bangladesh and the West Indies, where we anticipate spin-friendly conditions,” Salman said when asked about the team’s T20 World Cup preparations. “If the Asia Cup proceeds as scheduled in the UAE, we’ll face similarly slow pitches there as well. These tours provide valuable opportunities to adapt and refine our strategies.”
The T20 World Cup is slated to take place in India later this year. However, under the hybrid model approved by the ICC, Pakistan will play its matches at a neutral venue—most likely Sri Lanka—due to ongoing diplomatic sensitivities.
