After achieving the honor of runner-up in the Asia Cup, Pakistani team players have returned to the homeland. Late at night, a foreign flight brought the national cricketers from Dubai to Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
According to details, the players who reached Lahore include captain Salman Ali Agha, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, and Salman Mirza. After returning to the homeland, the national cricket team players will prepare for the next tournament.
It is to be noted that in the final of the Asia Cup T20, India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets and won the Asia Cup for the ninth time. The national team gave India a tough time in the final match.
For the first time in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup, the Pakistan-India final was played in Dubai. In the final match, India won the toss against Pakistan and decided to field first, which proved correct.
The entire Pakistan team was out for 146 runs. In reply, India achieved the target in the last over with the loss of 5 wickets. However, the interest of the spectators in the match remained until the last over.
