Pakistan successfully tests ballistic missile Ghaznavi: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Thursday informed that Pakistan has successfully carried out night training launch of ballistic missile, Ghaznavi.
In a tweet, DG-ISPR said that Pakistan has successfully carried out night training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi.

Major General Asif Ghafoor mentioned in his tweet that the Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Arif Alvi had also relayed their appreciation for the engineers and teams involved in the making and carrying out of the successful test.
According to him, the ballistic missile is capable of delivering multiple types of warheads up to 290 km.
The missile, Ghaznavi was designed and developed by the National Development Complex. The training launch comes amid increasing tensions with India over the revocation of occupied Kashmir’s special status unilaterally on  5th August.
