KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has fallen by 112.95 points today due to uncertainty, as a result of which the 100 Index closed at 41765.62 points.
The stock market witnessed a 0.27 percent decline in trading today, with 12,26,838 shares traded, causing billions of rupees in losses to investors.
On the other hand, the US dollar depreciated sharply against the rupee across the country, leading to a slight improvement in the value of the rupee.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, during the second trading day of this week, the US dollar depreciated by 7 paise against the rupee in the interbank market.
