In a major step toward modernizing Pakistan’s import and export sector, the Pakistan Single Window (PSW)—an entity operating under the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)—has launched its first mobile application to digitize cross-border trade processes.
According to PSW, the new mobile app will enable importers, exporters, and customs clearing agents to monitor and manage their trade activities more efficiently.
The application provides users with tools to track import and export declarations, receive real-time updates on customs clearance, and access information related to regulatory compliance.
PSW said the app also allows users to access various trade-related certificates online. In addition, applications for provincial cess payments and bank guarantee releases can now be submitted directly through the platform.
The mobile application includes integrated payment features, such as Payment Slip ID (PSID) generation and a Payment Management System, making financial transactions more convenient for users. A built-in customer support system has also been incorporated to assist traders and stakeholders.
According to Pakistan Single Window, the initiative is aimed at making trade procedures faster, more transparent, and more efficient, enabling businesses and relevant institutions to benefit from modern digital services while streamlining cross-border trade operations.
