ISLAMABAD: At least 1,664 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 46 more civilians have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,248,202 corona cases were reported across the country, while 27,831 civilians lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 51,796 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 1,94,86,951. Nationwide, the virus test result was 3.21 percent.
It may be recalled that earlier the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) had taken a major decision to expedite the vaccination process. Strict restrictions were imposed on those who did not get the corona vaccine.

People who have not been vaccinated against the deadly coronavirus around the world have been disqualified from air travel since yesterday and will not be able to attend weddings.
According to the decision of the Federal Minister for Planning and Development and the head of NCOC Asad Omar, people who have not been vaccinated against the coronavirus will not be allowed to buy or sell in shopping malls and business centers.
