Opposition leaders criticize PM Khan’s apology for TTP

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leaders Khawaja Asif, Hina Rabbani Khar, and Rana Sanaullah, among others, have strongly criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement regarding the pardon for the banned terrorist organization TTP.

According to details, former Defense Minister and PML-N National Assembly member Khawaja Asif while talking in a private TV program said that he took the Pakistani nation, especially the families of the martyrs, into confidence for a big decision like granting amnesty to TTP. Should go PTI members show intolerance for political opponents but Taliban will be forgiven.

Former Foreign Minister and PPP leader Hina Rabbani Khar criticized the Prime Minister’s statement, saying that even if the talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had been successfully carried out, the prime minister’s interview would still have been carried out. Causing damage to the nation must be taken into confidence before the TTP can be pardoned.
