ISLAMABAD: A further 583 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan and the total number has reached 316,934.
According to figures released by the National Command and Command Center, nine people have been killed in Corona in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 6,544.
So far, 32,375 patients have recovered and the number of patients undergoing treatment in coronavirus has dropped to 8,015.
The number of corona cases in Islamabad has risen to 17,009. 100,272 cases have been reported in Punjab, 139,195 in Sindh, 38,175 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,460 in Balochistan, 3,886 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 2,937 in Azad Kashmir.

The coronavirus has claimed 2,247 deaths in Punjab and 2,534 in Sindh, while the death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 1,263, Islamabad 187, Balochistan 146, Gilgit-Baltistan 89 and Azad Kashmir 77.
There are facilities for corona patients in 735 hospitals in Pakistan and the number of ventilators for coronavirus patients in hospitals is 1,920.
Coronavirus cases have dropped considerably in Pakistan in recent months, prompting the government to completely lift a longstanding lockdown. The number of cases dropped from nearly 7,000 per day to about 400, with daily deaths hovering in the single digits.
However, additional cases doubled over the past two weeks after schools reopened last month, forcing the government to reimpose the lockdown in several parts of Karachi, and Lahore.
