ISLAMABAD: At least 250 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while three more people have died due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,289,543 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,839 infected with the virus lost their lives.
During the last 24 hours, 36,944 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 22.61 million. Across the country, the virus test result was 0.67 percent, while the condition of 734 patients was critical.
During the last 24 hours, 175 people across the country defeated Corona, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,251,584. Mortality remains at 2.2 percent.

The highest number of corona cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 443,937 people fell victim to the virus while 13,052 died. In Sindh, 478,173 cases of corona and 7,638 deaths were reported.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 180,710 people fell victim to corona while 5,894 died. In Balochistan, 33,536 cases of the virus were reported and 363 civilians lost their lives.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,614 people were infected with corona and 743 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,426 cases were reported while 186 civilians died. In Islamabad, 1,88,146 cases and 963 deaths were reported.
