ISLAMABAD: Around 104 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country.
According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health, a total of 15,71,732 people have been affected by the coronavirus, while 30,605 have died due to the virus. The mortality rate remains at 1.6 percent.

During the last 24 hours, 16,614 tests were conducted for the diagnosis of coronavirus, while the ratio of positive cases was 0.68 percent. The total number of tests has reached 33,69,868 while 91 coronavirus patients are in intensive care.
According to the statistics till the previous day, 279 patients have defeated coronavirus in 1 day across the country, by which the number of recovered people has reached 15,35,388, while active cases remained at 5, 538. Punjab and Sindh were the most affected by the virus.
As of Thursday, 5,93,867 people have been affected by a coronavirus in Sindh while 8,238 have died. In Punjab, 5,21,917 citizens were affected while 13,611 died. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the third largest province affected by the virus.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 22,453 people were affected by coronavirus while 6,362 died. In Islamabad, 1,39,358 people were affected by coronavirus while 131 died. 44,309 coronavirus cases were reported in Azad Kashmir.
793 people died due to the virus in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. In Balochistan, 35,980 citizens have been affected by coronavirus while 378 have lost their lives. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 12,460 people have been affected by coronavirus while 191 have died.
