The World Statistics Organization has released a list of the cheapest countries in the world to live in, with which Pakistan is at the top.
According to this list, the cost of living in a country and other relevant decimals are based on the amount required in terms of US dollars. Pakistan has seen a decline in purchasing power in recent months due to the ever-increasing dollar rate.

With an index score of 18, Pakistan’s ranking reflects an extremely low cost of living compared to other nations. The Rent Index score is 3.4, which shows the country’s affordability. Pakistan recorded a Grocery Index Score of 15.4, a Restaurant Price Index of 13.7, and a Local Purchasing Power Index Score of 24.4.

Other very affordable countries include Egypt, India, and Colombia. Pakistan’s ranking at number one on the list highlights the potential benefits for those seeking a low-cost lifestyle amid economic challenges, political unrest, and inflation.
According to the list, Bermuda tops the list of the most expensive countries to live in, followed by Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas, which are known for their affluent lifestyle.
