Pakistan Post jumps 27 spots in global rankings

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post has moved up 27 places in the world rankings, according to a report issued by Universal Postal Union, the global organization of postal services.

The Universal Postal Union, the global organization of postal services, has released the 2020 ranking of 170 countries. Pakistan Post was ranked 94th in 2016 with 29 points but has moved up 27 places from 67th position.

Pakistan is also among the top in the world rankings in the industrial sector. This ranking is also about the best service with confidence, reach, hard work and dedication.

With the completion of the recent digitization project in Pakistan Post,  the postal system in the country will rise even higher. The newly launched project of Pakistan Post and the project to modernize the old system will make Pakistan Post proud of Pakistan globally.

The report also cites damage to the postal sector due to Coronavirus. The door-to-door delivery of Pakistan Post in the global epidemic was also appreciated by the UN Postal Service, Universal Postal Union.

Pakistan Post said it is working hard to be in the top 20 by 2023. It is also set to enter e-commerce by completing the ongoing digitization process.

The Pakistan Post said improving the rankings will further boost businesses and gain public confidence. Pakistan will also promote Pakistani products all over the world by completing the process of digitization in the Pakistan Post.
