ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur has said that Pakistan is playing its dynamic role to maintain peace and stability in the region and the world at large.
Talking to media in Islamabad, the minister said Pakistan is truly a peaceful and progressive country. He said India continues to discriminate against more than 19 million Indian Muslims and stands exposed before the world as a Hindu extremist and fascist country.
On the Kashmir dispute, Gandapur said the US President had expressed his concerns on the situation in the valley and he hoped that Trump will talk on this dispute with the international community.
He said President Donald Trump has also appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to maintain peace despite growing tensions in the region.
He said Indian troops’ illegal actions in Kashmir cannot be elapsed, adding that the governments of Pakistan, nation and Pak army are fully stood by their Kashmiri brethren.
He highlighted the encouraging trajectory of Pakistan’s relations with the international community, including the UK and expressed hope that these will continue to strengthen and assist to resolve Kashmir dispute.
