ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood said that Pakistan has invited United States to invest in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Speaking at a press conference today (Thursday), Abdul Razak Dawood said that CPEC was open for everyone and there is no restriction for US investment.
He also informed that the United States has assured its investment in oil and gas sectors.
He further said that US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross has assured him of reviewing different aspects of the CPEC.
He said, “We want access to US markets,” adding that the US has identified weaknesses in various sectors. Abdul Razak said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and US President have great chemistry.
Commenting on US-Taliban deal, he said that the relations between Pakistan and US would further strengthen after an agreement with the Taliban.
