Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has stated that Pakistan has taken revenge on India for the 1971 war, as reported by national media.
While addressing a ceremony in Lahore to pay tribute to the Pakistan Army and political leadership for their victory in the battle for truth, Attaullah Tarar said that under the passionate leadership of Army Chief Asim Munir, a befitting response was given to India—one they will never forget.
Atta Tarar said that Pakistani falcons shot down six Indian aircraft and targeted Indian military installations, forcing a defeated India to plead for a ceasefire by kneeling before the United States. He added that the enemy has been taught a lesson that history will always remember.
Atta Tarar said that Pakistan was ready to investigate the Pahalgam incident, but India fled from the diplomatic front. “We are peace-loving people who advocate and desire peace, but when the enemy mistook our desire for peace as weakness, we gave a strong response. Now, any talks will be about Kashmir. Pakistan has taken revenge on India for the 1971 war.”
He further said that Pakistan is grateful to friendly countries for their support and will continue its journey of economic development, vowing to defeat the enemy in the economic arena as well.
