ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has banned Indian pilgrims from entering the Kartarpur without their passports.
As per sources, the visits could visit the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib from morning till evening along with their passports.
Pakistani officers are efficiently monitoring the security arrangements across the Gurdwara to avoid any incident.
The officials from India and Pakistan signed an agreement operationalizing the Kartarpur Corridor in October last year.
The agreement guarantees Indian pilgrims visa-free access to this corridor to travel to the holy site in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Kartarpur corridor on 9th November in the birthday month of the founder of Sikhism Guru Nanak’s 550th birth anniversary celebrations.
