ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army has been put on high alert after credible reports that India is planning a false flag operation against Pakistan in a bid to divert attention from internal policies.
According to credible sources, India is preparing for an attack on the Line of Control (LoC) and on the Working Boundary in order to disturb peace in the region and divert attention from its internal politics.
Keeping in view the threat, the Pakistan Army has been put on high alert to deal with the situation. Well-placed sources said India can resort to a border action or a surgical strike as part of its false flag operation to divert attention from several of its ongoing internal problems.
India is facing massive protests by farmers who have announced a nationwide strike and closed down state borders against anti-farmer laws. It is been held called out for the mistreatment of minorities, atrocities in occupied Kashmir and the resultant criticism from international media and institutions.
The BJP-led Indian government is also faced protest by the Sikh community in the states of Punjab and Haryana which has added to the pressure on national and international fronts. This is followed by failures at Ladakh and Doklam.
According to well-placed sources, the Indian government has planned to hatch a Pulwama-type false flag operation to increase tensions at border regions and divert attention from its internal politics.
The Pakistan Army has reportedly been put on high alert to respond to any such misadventure by the Indian forces in a befitting manner. In 2016, India had laid claim to conducting a surgical strike without evidence on the LoC. On February 26, 2019, Indian launched a similar operation against Pakistan by violating the airspace but faced an embarrassment.
